Planning for success made easier for 120 female entrepreneurs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire

30 March 2015

Women across Erewash Valley in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are to be given access to the Finanscapes business forecasting software thanks to an Erewash Partnership project funded by RBS.

Erewash Partnership Ltd have recently been announced as one of the winners of the latest round of Inspiring Women in Enterprise grant funding. This funding, provided by RBS Inspiring Enterprise, received 195 applications from not-for-profit organisations looking for funding to run enterprise support programmes targeted at women in 2015.

The bid stood out against tough competition being one of only nine chosen from the 195 applications submitted by enterprise organisations from across the UK.

Always looking to give their clients the best chance of success, Erewash Partnership Ltd underpinned their bid for RBS's Inspiring Women in Enterprise funding by providing access to the Finanscapes forecasting tool for everyone they support through the programme.

The Finanscapes software is specifically designed to take away the "numbers barrier", reducing the stress of forecasting a new business and providing the entrepreneurs with information and indicators to help them make better decisions and build a stronger business.

James Fellows, Managing Director at Finanscapes.com says:

"It's exciting to be working with such a well-respected agency to encourage more women into entrepreneurship across the region.

The Finanscapes forecasting tool will now empower more female entrepreneurs across the region, allowing Erewash Partnership to focus on supporting them and setting them up for success. As women are only half as likely as men to start a business in the UK this project will have a fantastic impact on the local economy."
